Troubleshooting for Disaster Recovery for Dell

Introduction

If a failover doesn't complete as expected, or clients can't reach data after it reports success, use the topics below to diagnose and resolve the issue. They cover verifying DNS, SPNs, quotas, and file system access after failover; recovering from a failover that didn't complete every step; manually switching SMB clients or SyncIQ policies when automation doesn't finish the job; and validating data access when a target cluster reports success but data isn't reachable. If you need to recover Eyeglass quota jobs after a partial failover, or collect logs for a support case, you'll also find that guidance here.
