Nimsoft Probe (Deprecated)

Nimsoft Probe was deprecated in Eyeglass 2.9.0 (release date May 2024) and reached end of life in May 2025. Overview​

The Superna Eyeglass Probe integrated Eyeglass with CA (later Broadcom) UIM monitoring, allowing PowerScale cluster and Eyeglass appliance status to be surfaced in a UIM monitoring environment via a Nimsoft-compatible probe.

Administration​

The probe exposed the following actions from the Eyeglass UI:

  • Start the probe (activate).
  • Stop the probe (deactivate).
  • Restart the probe.
  • Delete the probe.
  • View the debug log for startup errors.
