Superna Product Lifecycle Information

Introduction

This page contains announcements of the end of support for Superna products. After every major release, legacy releases are supported for a considerable period of time to help customers upgrade or migrate. Superna recommends upgrading to the latest versions to get the full benefit of new features, feature enhancements, and critical bug fixes.

General Availability (GA)

General Availability (GA) is the release of a new product version to the general public. When a product version reaches GA, it becomes available through general sales and support channels.

End of Sale (EoS)

This is the date that a specific product version will no longer be available for purchase.

Deprecation Notice

Customers are informed about the products/features that will be deprecated in upcoming releases (what and when). A deprecation notice helps customers become aware of upcoming changes to a product or service so they can plan accordingly, and includes the reason a particular product or feature is being deprecated.

End of Updates (EoU)

The product is no longer renewed or developed. Feature updates are discontinued, but critical security patches may still be available until End of Support (EoS). Technical support remains available until EoS. Transitioning to another solution is strongly encouraged.

End of Support (EoS)

The product is discontinued and may still be in use but is no longer supported. No further patches, fixes, or official support are available from the vendor. If security risks exist, transitioning to another solution is critical.
