  • AirGap: integrated user-behavior detection suspends vault sync when suspicious activity is detected on the source cluster.
  • Split roles: AirGap management is separated from day-to-day Ransomware Defender monitoring and from Vault cluster access/passwords.
  • Fast incremental replication: powered by SyncIQ, minimizing how long the AirGap network needs to stay open to sync changed data.
  • Low-cost, long retention: SnapshotIQ stores only block-level differences, enabling longer retention of versioned vault data at lower cost.
  • Rapid recovery: designed to bring protected data back online within a few hours, including DR-style mirroring of shares, exports, and quotas to the vault cluster so vault data access matches production access.
  • Easy Auditor integration: extends AirGap with full file-auditing coverage (Data Loss Prevention, mass-delete detection, and custom triggers) that can block replication to the vault while active events are unresolved.
  • Inside-the-vault automation: an optional VM deployed inside the vault (Enterprise AirGap) automates opening and closing the AirGap from within the vault itself.
  • Cloud Pool Vaulting: CloudPools stubs are deep-copied and inflated to full size before being stored in the vault, so stubs are never inflated back on the source cluster.

Future integration with Golden Copy Advanced is planned, allowing Golden Copy to pause copy/sync operations to off-site object targets (for example, Amazon S3 or Azure) when an active threat is detected on the source cluster. See Golden Copy Overview for details.
