Who Is the Training For?
- DR Architect: Someone who needs background on how this solution integrates into a larger solution and functionally meets business unit requirements in a DR design.
- DR Configuration: Someone who needs background on the configuration changes required to implement a DR design that affects the cluster, DNS, Active Directory, Windows DFS, and Linux hosts. This person needs to know the specifics of each change and its impact in order to raise change management requests for implementing a DR design.
- DR Operations: Someone who manages Eyeglass DR on a daily basis, must be prepared to execute a failover, respond to alarms, review data replication reports and readiness assessments, and respond correctly to daily monitoring operations.
How the Course Is Structured
The course is divided into three areas based on the target audiences above, and the content is tailored to each functional area. If all three roles are not required for your planned training session, request one or two of the functional areas as the focus so the instructor can concentrate on the needs of those roles.
Requirements
- Service questionnaire: Completing the service questionnaire is mandatory before service team resources are assigned. For training, the questions regarding the terms and conditions of the service must be answered. Contact Superna to obtain the questionnaire (see Contacting Support).
- Terms and conditions: Covered by the product maintenance agreement (see the EULA links above).
