User Management Troubleshooting

This section covers troubleshooting issues with User Management features in Superna 5.x.

User Management FAQ

Why can't I change my own role when logged in as an Admin?

This is an intentional security feature. Admins cannot change their own role to prevent accidentally removing the last admin account from the system, which would lock everyone out of administrative functions.

Changing Your Own Admin Role

If you need to change your own role when you are an Admin:

  1. Create Another Admin
Create a new user with the Admin role. See Team Management for detailed instructions.

  2. Switch Users
Log out and log in as the new Admin user.

  3. Modify Original Account
Only then can you change the original Admin's role.

Forgot my password, how to reset it?

If you've forgotten your password, you can easily reset it. For detailed step-by-step instructions, refer to the Password Recovery section of the First Access guide.
