What's New in Data Security Essentials

New 1.2.0 release​

Threat Detection Actions​

  • New menu items have been added to the Threat Detection Actions menu that will allow restoring user's permissions to a share and to re-enable a user's account in Active Directory to make it easier to restore a user's access if a trigger denied access to a share or disabled the access.

New Threat Detection Defaults​

  • The default values for the pre-defined Ransomware triggers now align with other Superna products.
  • The recurring time value for the Ransomware triggers has been reduced to 1 minute instead of 5.

Extension Exclusions​

  • Policy triggers can now have excluded extensions added to the configuration to be excluded from matching.
