Common Operations

Introduction

This section outlines frequently used administrative operations within Superna Disaster Recovery. These are tasks that support the day-to-day setup and maintenance of your environment, including registering storage clusters and backing up or restoring system configuration.

The procedures described here are applicable across both VAST and Qumulo environments and are essential for ensuring continuity and control throughout the Disaster Recovery lifecycle.

Add Clusters

Add your VAST or Qumulo clusters to the Eyeglass interface in order to enable monitoring, failover configuration, and inventory management.

Backup and Restore

Use built-in tools to back up your Eyeglass configuration and restore it to a new VM when migrating, rebuilding, or replicating your DR environment.
