How to Verify SyncIQ Policy Updates

Procedure for Source Cluster​

Verify that:

  • SyncIQ Policies are disabled in PowerScale OneFS.
  • Eyeglass configuration replication jobs related to these SyncIQ Policies are in Policy Disabled state.
  • SyncIQ Policies in PowerScale OneFS have their schedule set to manual.

Procedure for Target Cluster​

Verify that:

  • SyncIQ Policies are enabled in PowerScale OneFS.
  • The corresponding Eyeglass configuration replication jobs are in Enabled state.
  • SyncIQ Policies have the same schedule that was originally set for the policy on the Source Cluster.
NOTE

If you have the Eyeglass INITIALSTATE property set to Disabled for Auto jobs, the Eyeglass Configuration Replication job for the mirror SyncIQ Policy created during the first failover will be in User Disabled state. Consult the Configuration Replication guide for more information.
