Superna DR Edition is a comprehensive Disaster Recovery (DR) solution designed to provide automated DR capabilities for VAST and Qumulo storage environments. It ensures your data and configurations are protected and can be quickly recovered in the event of a disaster. This solution is based on the "cluster witness" concept, enhancing the reliability and efficiency of disaster recovery processes.

Superna DR Edition automates many of the manual steps required during a disaster recovery event, including:

  • Configuration Replication: Ensures that all configuration data, such as SMB shares, NFS exports, quotas, and snapshots, are replicated to the DR site.
  • Real-Time Validation: Validates the DR readiness of your environment every 15 minutes, ensuring you are always prepared for a disaster.
  • Failover Automation: Automates the failover process to minimize downtime and ensure a smooth transition to the DR site.

  • DR Dashboard: Offers real-time information on the readiness status of disaster recovery failovers, validating zone and pool readiness every 15 minutes and DFS and policy readiness every 5 minutes.
