Readiness

Introduction

The Readiness section helps you monitor and verify whether your disaster recovery (DR) environment is properly configured for failover. Using tools like the DR Dashboard and Runbook Robot, administrators can validate SyncIQ policies, configuration replication, networking, and Access Zone configurations before initiating a DR event.

These tools provide real-time visibility into system health and identify issues that need to be addressed to meet DR readiness standards. Use this section to routinely assess readiness and maintain continuous protection for your critical data.

Readiness Checks

The DR Dashboard is the primary interface for evaluating DR readiness. It consolidates validation results for key components like SyncIQ policies, DFS shares, Access Zones, and network settings. Each area is assessed and flagged as OK, Warning, or Error to help you take immediate action when needed.

Runbook Robot

Runbook Robot automates DR readiness testing by simulating failover and failback processes on a daily schedule. It validates data replication, SmartConnect alias handling, configuration sync, and data access, giving you continuous assurance that your DR setup is functioning correctly.
