Backup and Restore

Use backup and restore procedures to migrate your Eyeglass configuration, license data, and disaster recovery settings from one appliance to another. This is useful when deploying a replacement appliance or maintaining a secondary system for redundancy.

Change PowerScale IP Address

If the SmartConnect Service IP of your PowerScale cluster changes, you must update Eyeglass with the new IP address to maintain connectivity and configuration synchronization. This section provides instructions for safely disabling jobs, making the change, and re-enabling services.
