What's New in 4.4.0

This release introduces VAST Mesh Failover and updates to Cyber Recovery Manager.

VAST Mesh Failover

Enables circular failover across three or more clusters.

Key capabilities include:

  • Mesh failover across three VAST clusters (A → B → C → A)
  • Automated failover after initial setup, with no manual VAST intervention required
  • Ability to fail over to any available cluster without returning to the original primary cluster
  • Support for protected path–level and tenant-level failover in mesh configurations

Cyber Recovery Manager

A known behavior has been identified in this release: during file recovery, an S3 event may be triggered if the recovery test user matches the bucket owner.
