What's New?

This release of Cyberstorage for VAST and Qumulo introduces enhanced audit data management capabilities, expanded platform support, and a comprehensive set of fixes and improvements based on customer feedback.

Features

Bulk-ingest for Easy Auditor

Re-ingest audit data from VAST audit files into Easy Auditor's SQL database, ensuring that audit records are up-to-date and accessible for analysis.

Key capabilities:

  • Data Gap Recovery: Fill gaps in audit records due to connectivity loss by reading the audit records from VAST cluster and retrieving all missing events to ensure complete data access.
  • Date Selection: Select specific audit files for ingestion from the user interface by choosing a cluster and specifying a date range. The software automatically selects then the corresponding events using the time interval provided.
  • Queue Management: Submit multiple Bulk Ingest jobs that are automatically queued for sequential processing, ensuring no conflicts or overlap between jobs.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor the status of files during the Bulk Ingest job and insure only the events in the selected time range are added.
  • Efficient Distribution: Files are efficiently distributed across TurboAudit workers using a REST API allocation system based on the number of available workers.
