Restore User Access

Introduction

Use this procedure to restore access for a user who was locked out by Superna Data Security. It also re-enables access to any SMB shares that were restricted during the event.

Procedure

  1. Open the Ransomware Defender Module by clicking on its desktop icon in the Eyeglass UI.
  2. Click on the Active Events tab.
  3. When you identify the active event, you will find a blue button under the Actions column for that event. Click this button.
  4. A dialog will appear. Next to the word "Action" you will find a drop-down menu. Expand this drop-down and click on Restore User Access.
  5. Click on Submit.
  6. Verify that the State column for the event changes to Access Restored.
